A healthy diet has been a huge part of my life since childhood. Because I have always played sports, I relied on eating healthy foods to fuel my workouts. As a college student my schedule is always changing, and I found myself not eating a balanced diet. As a result, I noticed a lack of energy and gradual weight gain. In order to help me lose a few pounds, fuel my runs, and learn how to construct balanced meals, I made the decision to meet with Betsy. "On September 24, 2017, I finished my 3rd Ironman competition with a PR time of 13:11:10 in Chattanooga.  The great thing about this, or one of the great things, is that I had recently celebrated a 20 lb weight loss leading up to this competition! "In 2001, I weighed 230 lbs and lost it over the course of 3 years. 15 years later, after Ironman Louisville, the weight started creeping up.
