Thai Basil Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs flank steak
  • 2 Tbs avocado oil
  • 1 Tbs garlic, minced
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 orange bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • ½ cup Thai basil leaves (spicier and bolder than regular basil)
  • ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 Tbs green onions, for garnish

Directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium to medium-high heat, add oil, steak, garlic, and onions. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, until steak has browned on the outside.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, except green onions. Cook for about 7-8 minutes, until peppers are soft.
  3. Top with green onions.
