I adore food and drinks which has resulted in years of chronic weight fluctuation. My long-term routine has been as follows: Eat anything and everything, panic when my pants don’t fit, and then initiate some starvation and then go on a workout spree until the whole cycle repeats. During the pandemic, things got worse being in the house more with easy access to the kitchen. Finally, in December, I put down the Big Mac and contacted Betsy who is a long-time friend. I wanted to break the cycle and knew I couldn’t do it alone. Betsy created a plan for me about nutrition (not just weight loss) and included plenty of good food to keep me away from the hunger highs and lows. I’ve lost 17 lbs., feel great, and did it without having to give up everything I like to eat and drink. Last week on vacation, I ate what I wanted, but knew I had a solid plan to return to when I got home. That’s really been the key for me. My husband and kids have slowly started to catch on, so everyone benefits. Thank you, Betsy, for helping me break the cycle!
