I was 9 years old when I remember overeating for comfort for the first time. The unhealthy relationship I developed with food as an adolescent has followed me my entire life. I’ve been on an endless roller coaster of gaining and losing. As I got older, I realized the extra weight was more than just what I saw in the mirror. I felt terrible. When I turned 40, I started blaming aging on my inability to lose weight, feeling exhausted all the time, and all the aches and pains.Last year, I had gotten to the point where I needed to go up a size in all my clothes. Everything was really tight and uncomfortable and I dreaded getting dressed in the morning. The more I beat myself up about the weight the more I ate. I began to feel desperate for change.I discovered Betsy through a testimonial just like the one I’m writing. I knew the person whose testimonial I was reading and was very encouraged by her story. I reached out to Betsy and got started almost immediately. I am so happy I prioritized my health and happiness! Betsy educated me on food (when to eat, what to eat, how much to eat), but additionally she was the ultimate coach and cheerleader. I have lost 25 pounds and literally feel 10 years younger. I am incredibly grateful for Betsy’s support, I couldn’t have done this without her. My life has been forever changed for the good.
