Matt Gigliotti, lost 40 pounds

Dec 8, 2019

“After a tough year of grad school, I developed some pretty horrible eating habits before realizing I needed to make a change. I had given up on cooking, and instead implemented a rotating meal schedule of chicken tenders, chinese food, and cheesesteaks. I had barely enough energy to get through the day, and gave up on trying to get to the gym. Needless to say, I slowly began to gain weight, and as my habits got worse, the weight gain wasn’t so slow anymore. My Mom, being the awesome Mom she is, set me up with Betsy. I told Betsy all about my lifestyle and eating habits, and we met and decided the types of food I would want to eat. We made a comprehensive plan that scheduled when and what to eat, with a lot of options for variety. After some tweaks were made to make sure I wasn’t hungry throughout the day, it was the easiest diet I’ve ever tried. The food was tasty, I was allowed to eat a lot of it, and with Betsy as my own personal cheerleader texting me every day, I began to feel better almost immediately. I started losing weight, and with the boost in energy, I got back into the gym, and started to lose even more weight when combined with Betsy’s diet. In the end, I went from from 236 to 196 pounds (40 pounds!!!). Thanks Betsy!”
