We all have those moments in our lives that open our eyes that our health isn’t as great as we perceive it to be. I was a runner and consistent fitness class attendee for years; however, the scale and my pants didn’t show my hard work. I had just finished my doctorate and my husband and I purchased our first home. I was so excited, but the picture we took next to the sold sign was my sign to do something! I reached out to Betsy. It’s been a slow and steady journey, but thanks to her support, guidance plus that of my family and friends have brought me to where I am today. I can confidently say I still enjoyed eating out, tailgating last fall, the treats of the holidays, and survived living and working at home since March without the COVID-19 weight gain. I am someone who loves to cook but don’t let that intimidate you. Betsy can guide you even if you aren’t comfortable in the kitchen.

One year later and twenty pounds lighter, I am in the best health of my life. The scale might not express my dream number, but my blood pressure, cholesterol, and resting heart rate are the lowest they’ve been in 5 years!
