” My journey began 7 months before I met Betsy. I had had my second child in two years in November and started an 80 day workout and nutrition program to lose the baby weight that I had gained and to regain my confidence. I pushed myself for 80 days and lost a grand total of 5 pounds. I was frustrated, defeated and eating all of my feelings. Then decided to try and find the next quick fix that would help me make any type of progress. The next several months were full of low carb, no carb, whole30, diets of bars and shakes all day, and the scale barely moved.
I reached out to Betsy in June after seeing a friend post about her on Instagram. As soon as I met her I knew that this was going to be the turning point in my journey. She has taught me more about how to have a healthy relationship with food than I could even imagine. She taught me that food can be used to fuel your body and help you lose weight when you are eating the right foods in the right amounts without being hungry all day long. She has shown me that eating healthy goes way beyond just eating chicken and broccoli and salads every day for the rest of my life. Since I began my journey in January I have lost 30 pounds. 17 of which came in the last 13 weeks working with Betsy. I still have some work to do but I know I can achieve the goals I have left using the tools Betsy has given me. This experience with her has forever changed the way I will look at food. No more quick fixes. Just new way of life.”
