“As a 20-year-old, full-time college student, it’s always been hard to keep track of my eating. Before I started working with Betsy, I was constantly having headaches every day and felt bloated constantly. I never realized that my headaches were connected to the foods I was eating. I just wasn’t feeling good and my mom encouraged me to reach out to Betsy to set up a plan for me while at home and then when I was back at the University of Southern California. Once we started, I immediately noticed the difference. Suddenly, my daily afternoon headache disappeared, and the bloating I had experienced slowly went away. I definitely had a difficult time at first because I was a college student home for Christmas. I was tempted by all the yummy holiday foods! It got easier once I returned to my apartment at school because I could buy the right foods and cook meals for myself. I had a great time experimenting with new recipes and snacks.
