“In August of 2022, I was hospitalized and diagnosed with congestive heart failure and severe sleep apnea. It was quite a scare. I knew I had to make major lifestyle changes to reduce sodium in my diet and lose weight. My daughter had great success doing Betsy’s program and I decided I would give it a try. I was hesitant because my lifestyle is very social (I eat out a lot! ) And, I love to travel which means I don’t cook much! However, Betsy taught me how to enjoy my on-the-go lifestyle and still find ways to eat healthier. A year later at age 69, I have lost 65 pounds. My doctors have seen the improvement in my health, and I feel better than I have in many years.
