These photos may not look all that different but in the photo on the left, I am about 12-15 pounds heavier. After two hip surgeries and turning 40, it became a lot harder to run, swim, or bike off the extra weight I was starting to carry. I am an endurance athlete and sometimes still eat like one even when I am not racing. After years of feeling heavy and sluggish, I decided it was time to reach out to Betsy for help. I’m not going to lie, the first week was hard for me. I was eating the same number of times per day (about every 2-3 hours) but eating way more than I should have, so we had to cut back a little. However, after the first week or two, I started to adjust and surprisingly started feeling really good. Not only has my weight been dropping but also my run times and I really do feel amazing. I have so much energy now during the day and can definitely feel a difference in my runs. Yay, for bonk free workouts! I cannot thank Betsy enough for her guidance over the last few months. She was always available when I had a question (and I had a lot) and super supportive if I had a tough week. I am so happy I reached out to her when I did. I cannot wait to eat that entire pumpkin pie this weekend now that I’ve got my weight down. Just kidding Betsy 🙃Â
