You can’t outrun a bad diet.  As a college athlete in college, I subscribed to the mantra “if the furnace is hot enough, anything will burn.”  After 15 years and 3 kids, however, I was starting to rethink that philosophy.  The demands of a job and being a parent, coupled with decreased exercise and a processed food-heavy diet, had increased my weight to an amount that I knew wouldn’t be healthy long-term.  

By working with Betsy and resuming a regular exercise schedule I’ve lost over 30 pounds since the beginning of summer and am fitting into clothes I haven’t worn since college.  My wife is in the process of making me replace those clothes with ones from this decade, but still, I’m back to wearing sizes I haven’t been able to wear since my early 20s.  Betsy’s program doesn’t contain any “gimmicks” or quick fix solutions.  Rather, it’s all about consistency, portion control and eating the right things.  You won’t be hungry or feel deprived.  My energy levels are the best they’ve been in a long time.
